Hardtop Shocks

Ok I replaced the rear window on my hardtop (the old one shattered). The shocks are marked left and right but could someone post a picture showing the top of the shock as it mounts to the glass looking from the inside out? Thanks much.

Re: Hardtop Shocks

I would love to send you a picture but I'm not that good yet. On my 95 looking through the window (standing to the rear of the vehicle) the tube is on top with the chrome rod on the bottom. Hope this helps.

Agreed. I'm pretty sure that's how my top was, too, that is, until the last one shot out like a rocket. It's more of a flap than a hatch now.

Re: Hardtop Shocks

Rule of thumb on any Chrysler and Jeep. If the part indicates position(Left or Right), it's meant as if you were seated inside the Vehicle where your right is the the vehicles right and vise versa.
