yep looks like the trans is the easiest now i know that the shift lever comes out with out removing the top of the transmission. i know on mine i never could get the pin out of the
transfer case to remove the levers, on one end is a grease zerk and the other end was secured with a square head screw so i had no way to get a hold of it and no way to tap it to break it free maybe on this one i will get lucky. the cj manual i have doesnt realy help with the old jeeps so thanks for your help guys.
