on a budget

i have a 03 tj with a 3in suspention lift but i want more so can i do coil spacers in the front and add a leafs in the rear?... im thinking 1 or even 2 more inches if its doable

Yes you can do coil spring spacers on all 4 corners because a tj doesn't have leaf springs in the rear!
At least I've heard of people adding spacers!

A lot of people run 2" coil spacer lifts with no problems.I have not seen any on a Jeep that was already lifted,but I do not think there would be a problem.

5" is a lot of coil/spacer height for a short-arm suspension setup. At a minimum you will need longer aftermarket lower control arms to increase the wheelbase and keep the pinion/caster angles in check.

Many run 5" with a short-arm setup but handling and performance will suffer as the angle of the control arms increases.
