    no power to coil

    just put a new engine in a 1997 jeep wrangler 2.5 and i have no power going to the coil i put a crank position sensor and i have moved the relays around incase it is the asd relay, i have power to the fuel this is the third time i have put the engine in in the last 2 months and this is the only problem i have run into please help if anybody can.

    Need to test the ignition switch and trouble shoot from there

    Ign fuses all ok? Ign relay good? Check for power at fuse panel and trace wire back to pcm and check power.

    You may such ECM on here I remember reading something about not getting fire to coil and the fix was changing screws

    I'm not sure if the 97 model has a CKP sensor but if it does, make sure the sensor is properly plugged in.

    thinks for the information but i got it running, i cleaned all my grounds and rechecked the timing and it fired right up
