CJ7 wiring and new dash panel
I'm getting ready to rewire and install a fiberglass dash panel. I was going to cut the holes and paint the dash and get the gauges ready. From there I'm not sure if there is anything that would make it easier. Any tips or tricks from someone that's done it before would be greatly appreciated.

Re: CJ7 wiring and new dash panel
With a fiberglass dash I would run a ground wire with terminals for each gauge, light etc...that way everything would go to a common solid ground instead of having several seperate wires running to ground.

Re: CJ7 wiring and new dash panel
that ^^^
also when I wire up a control pannel or cluster, I like to have an extra couple inches of wire, the couple extra inches is to be able to pull the dash off a little so you can work on the rear with out having to lay on your back with one hand up under the dash trying to un-plug stuff.
also I like to organize the wires neatly and lots of wire ties to keep them clean. It used to be a jeep Thing,
But all that stuff broke
