    YJ front seat

Has anyone ever moved the seats back a few inches for a little more comfort?

Can this be done easily in an '87 YJ?

If you are talking about notching the fenderwell so the seat go's further back, I would think so. It's done on cj-5's all the time.. I think the only notch it a inch or two. Push the seat all the way back and cut out the corner section of the wheel well that the seat enterfers with and weld in new metal making a notch in that corner of the wheel well. I think if you google it you should find some pics of it.

you don;t have to notch it on a yj, just drill new holes on your slider or make something to let it mount a bit farther back. you have more room on the yj then the cj so you don;t have to notch though

Makes sense, a 5 is much shorter. didnt think of that.. drilling new holes is much easier..
