Has any one tried the throttle body space to see if they really increase HP and MPG? I am looking for info on use in a 2001 4.0 in particular.

Got one in my 97' 4.0 with the K&N filter and got some great results!

I had to compensate for bigger tires...It was most noticeable on the highway and off from a complete stop. I got more to the floor in 5th gear and a noticeable increase from the stop light.[addsig]

What brand of TBS did you purchase for you 4.0? I have added a K&N style filter with little results in power and the fuel economy may have actually dropped. I am going to watch it longer and then put the origional system back on to check it. I plan on putting a 2" lift on when the tires (go to 32" from 30") are bald.[addsig]
