I have a 93 YJ and my little 4 cyl just doesnt have the power i want. I'm currently looking for a 350 chevy, i think thatll fit and understand the extent of other mods i would have to do, but about how much would one of those run me?...i'm trying to get a general idea. If someone has an idea for a better motor, let me know. thanks.

I am considering the same thing on my 97 TJ (350 conversion). I got the catalog from Advance Adapters and found them to be very helpful. The conversion kit alone runs about $1600, if you use your current tranny. I am looking at a 350 TPI out of an IROC-Z with a T-5 tanny. If you are looking for the same, make sure you get the wiring harness and the ECM (computer) that goes with it. It will make things alot easier. I'm getting the motor and tranny from a friend for $1200. All together I'm looking at about $3400 for the total conversion..... but it's worth it.
