Wondering if anybody has put steel YJ half doors on a CJ7 and noticed the odd fit after closed. After closed there's about 3/16-1/4" of the door protruding (unclosed) on the latch edge. Wondered if the YJ door post is dimensionally a little different. Seems I could shim the door post bracket but then full hard doors wouldn't latch. Could also possibly slot door latch mounting holes but don't know if this is a great idea either. Just wondered if anybody has seen this.

I am assuming that the 1/2 doors are for the summer. You have to make changes between your hard and soft top. Just shimout the latch, when you put your hard top on and full doors remove the shims till the following spring.

I have seen a number of CJ'swith YJ 1/2 doors fitting well, but never asked if you need to shim them up.
