i have a 1980 cj-7 renegade, and i am starting to add on things, one thing that bothers me is the pitiful radio i have. is there a way i can take out the old reciever face that is stock, by cutting into the dash and replacing it with a new style face plate? I used a jig saw and just cut the stock hole larger, and mounted a cd player in there. I think when I rebuild, I'll get one of those consoles that hold the stereo, so that it will be semi waterproof, and not out there for thieves
