Drivers Door wont close

It started over the winter but seemed to work but last night my drivers door will not close without having to slam it shut and if i don't slam it shut i can dribble it like a basketball. Just want to know what I should buy to fix it or if i can fix it without buying new parts?

Half door or full?
My first guess is that the screws are loose that hold the mechanism. Try looking hard at your passenger side door, then at the drivers, and see if anything looks off.

It may be that you'll have to take it apart to find the problem. You will likely take it apart to replace any components.

My Tj did this yesterday found out the bolts in door latch started coming out
