Fuel pump pressure for 1990 yj with 4.2L

My google-fu is failing me and I need to determine the fuel pump pressure of the stock mechanical fuel pump on 1990 jeep wrangler with the 4.2L inline six. Swapping on a Weber 32/36 carb and the instructions say it needs 3.5psi don't want to ruin anything if the jeep is pushing 6psi. Thanks.

your pump does put out higher then the weber required psi. buy a holley regulator that has a dual outlet and just run one line to the carb and the other back to the tank as a return line. i ran my weber like that with zero trouble but i had to put a gage on the line to set the psi down low enough and i think i ended up going to 3.0 for it to not have trouble.

One more question, on the weber there is a fuel bowl vent. The instructions say to hook up same as on the old card. This jeep already has a nutter bypass and the vent on the previous carb was never hooked up. Any ideas?
