Turn signals all messed up

I have a 97 wrangler. The left front turn signal was not working i changed the bulb and still nothing. played with the other bulb and it started working when the bulb was half out. i replaced the turn signal controller now the blinkers flash together and the clock on the radio blinks unless i turn on the headlights then they work correctly on the front but the dash indicaters are still messed up and the clock still blinks.... Any advice ???

It sounds like you may have a bad ground.

Agree with steady.foot . Check for corrosion in bulb socket . Sounds like supply voltage is being back feeded due to a bad ground and wreaking havoc with the body controller .

The indicators are grounded near the headlight under the hood. Start by inspecting and polishing the connections.
