Alright,I spent a while looking at this carter in side and out and dont want to rebuild it or buy a new carter. I am looking for a CALIFORNIA smog legal carb.I am not sure wheather I should get a weber or a different carb.Give me some feed back on some carbs available for my 82 cj7 258.Here are my questions.Where can I find one???Will it eliminate any vaccum hoses???How much will it cost???Thanks Sully

i know this is an old post, and u have found a weber wont work, but you might want to do a search for c.a.r.b., or the california air resourses board[addsig]
