A suspension kit will lift everything above the axles and tires will lift everything. What is it you are looking to do?

I am looking for most likely a suspension lift. I have a body lift on my truck, but obviously it only lifts the body not the engine. I need to prevent the engine from being in too much mud and water. How costly is it I have never lifted a jeep. [addsig]

I am guessing that you will want to run a 35" tire when done. With your 3" body and a 4" lift you can run 35's this will get everything up and out of the water / mud. A 4" kit runs about $550 - $600 with everything included. Then install in this area is about $300 - $350 it might be more where you are.

Hope this helps

Right now I have 31.5 wild country tires . What do you think about a suspension lift? What are the benefits of one from the other? I would like atleast a 4" lift, and the problem I am having is... My jeep is in the shop today having a new carburator put on. Weber of course, but I am getting a lot of sand and water getting into the carburator due to the type of off roading I am doing. So along with the lift I need some sort of snorkel for air flow in water too. Any ideas? I live in Florida, and run it out in a lot of swamps and mud.[addsig]

Lift kits can be expensive, I have been recommended to go with a Superlift kit, which can be pretty expensive. But I found a good deal on ebay.com for a new lift kit from a 4x4 supplier in Texas. It is a four inch lift with everything needed to install and it includes shocks (which are normally not included), after shipping and handling it came out to be about $465. I know the guy runs the same package continuously on ebay, for the same price at a buy it now option. You should check it out if you are interested in saving money and want a good lift.[addsig]
