rough idle

I have a 95 YJ, 4 banger, auto. 64k miles. When it is cold, the engine idle is rough, then it slows almost to a stall, then comes back to normal.it will cycle this several times. After it gets warmed up for about 1 minute, it seems, OK.

I have changed plugs, wires, cap,rotor, and ran fuel inject. cleaner in it. Any one have any ideas what could be wrong? [img]modules/phpBB_14/images/smiles/icon_confused.gif[/img] thanks in advance. [addsig]

Go to a shop that has a diagnostic computer. Check the oxygen and MAP sensor. They could affect your fuel mixture. A vacuum leak would cause it to be bad ALL the time. But the sensors work to find a proper mix and will level out at some point. Good Luck![addsig]

If you dont want to go to the shop, take you throttle body off and clean the hell out it, i have a 91 with the 4 cyl, and i had the same prob. while you have your throttle body off clean your Idle Air Control, and space it i think 1/8 of an inch to to that push it in all the way and pull it out, I can almost bet if you do this it will work like a champ, Check your chiltons manual about the space for you I A C but i think its an 8th
