I installed a 4" lift to my 77' CJ5. Once completed, I discovered a grinding noise when the clutch is disengaged, and the vehicle is coasting, and additionally noise at speeds greater than 25 mph. I'm at a lose for an explanation. Any ideas?
Is the clutch linkage too short now because of the lift, and not letting the pedal go all the way down?
I'm guessing that you installed a 4" suspension lift, did you do anything like lower the transfer case?
