Drop Down Step

i have a 78 cj5 with a 360,d30,amc20,t150,d20 t-case,and 36"swampers.the rears are 3.55 gears and open diffs front and rear.i run alot of mud but also like to run on the trails.my question is would you run lower gears or look for a t-18 tranny.i have been looking for a tranny with no luck.i think the tranny would be the way to go seeing as the 360 makes more than enough power to spin the tires(rpms are important in the mud),and the rpms are fine on the street.just thought id ask you guys t.i.a.

Why the t-18? Does it have a lower 1st gear so that you can crawl slower? What about a tera-low kit for the t-150? If they make one...
