Magnum Winches

i agree, go with the knock off's. i got 31" kumho m/t's a set of 5 for 475 shipped to my door, can't beat it many of the knock off brands buy old tread patterns from the BFG's or GDYR's that have come up with a "new" tread design. in my mind i can't see spending all that money on expensive overrated tires. if my cheap tires handle the same than i'll be happy

I don't think the Kumho's are really a "knock-off" they have better Abuse reviews than BFG's they just aren't as Advertised.

Better go with the 32" tires, the 33" will rub with only 3.5" of lift on the YJ.

If the lift is a BDS 3.5" go with the 33's they will clear. Also the tires that you are talking about run a little on the small side.

I can't personally vouch for the BFG's, but I hear that for a M/T, they get excellent mileage. Might be worth the extra $.

What kind of prices are you getting? Our Sears will beat any locally advertised price by 10% on BFGs. So I priced the 32x11.50 at Costco (similar to a Sam's Wholesale warehouse) for $144 installed/per tire. So if Sears knocks 10% off that price, we're talking $130 per tire installed. Since Sears is national... you might want to check it out.

I have read some really good reviews of the Kumho MT's. I don't know if they will match the BFG MT treadlife, but they are alot cheaper, so this could just be a trade-off. The BFG's do have a thicker sidewall though.
