First is it a short arm lift?
Front and rear sway bars attached?
Also did you personaly check the front
track bar for tightness?
All the tie rod ends tight?
All of these problems can and will make your ride feel like your driving on ice. Also there is some added in sway feeling after you do a lift since you are riding taller on the springs, personaly I only get that feeling in high winds on my TJ with a 4" long arm lift.
Your best course here is to lift the front then the rear and personaly check the axles for movment and loose tie rod ends. Making sure your front and rear sway bars are still hooked up and tight.
Oh and did you get the front end alighned after the lift was installed ? a slight toe in or out could replicate these very same problems here.
Good luck and if every thing looks and feel right write and let us all know.
Then maybe some one else will have a better suggestion.
