need information on CJ5 brakes

Do I HAVE to change my u bolt when I take them off the axle. I put some lift springs on (add a leafs and rearched). I was wondering if I really have to change it.

By all means take off the old and replace with new. The cost is small and the new the gives a real good piece of mind! tug

i reused my old ones, had no problems. but, i cleaned them and made sure they were in good shape. if you ***** up the threads, don't hesitate to buy new ones.
