How was Coy Hill ??????
Looked for my restrictor 99 Sahara 4.0 and somebody must have already removed it, cause I couldn't find it. Anyone where is the exact location. thanks Patlisa514

Some jeeps dont have it.... Does yours have the air box that sits directly on top of the throttle body?? It it does, then the restrictor is inside of there, it starts right where the hose from the air filter box meets that box. If you dont have the airbox on the throttle body, then i dont believe you have the restrictor.

If the tube going from the airbox to the throttle body noticeably tapers to a smaller size, yank the inside tapered part. That's it. (Mine was really tight and took some twisting with pliers.

No mine has a side box with a non tapered hose curving and going straight down on the TB. Guess its not there.

I dont think you have the restrictor then, although i could be wrong. You might pull the tube off and look inside of it to see if there is some sort of restrictor just to be sure.

You'll need to look inside the tube. It's not noticeable from the outside. If you already did that, it's either gone or never had one.

mine was in the lid of the airbox... take the lid completely off anfd look inside the part that the tube goes on... it pushes out, but is real tight... may be the same color as the box and hard to see....

I will take the suggestions and re-look, my eyes are not what they use to be, plus the 5th grade education doesn't help either!!!LOL
