hey, i started up my yj 2-3 days ago and about 3 sec. after i started it up i got a loud howling ,its not the belt or the intake,checked those, after around 5 min. it will stop ,anyway i can only think of the water pump! any body know anything about this???

Need a better description of "howling". If you have power steering, check your fluid. When mine gets low, it will make a bad noise... especially when cold.

a loud high pitched howl, it is not the power steering pump either ,i cant hear exactly wear its coming from ,cause of the engine noise!!

i dont even touch the gas ,about 3 second after i start the jeep,constant for about 2-5 minutes!then it just stops
