So i go to warm up my 87 YJ the other day and everything is going good...i get inside with my friend and its warm, but not yet toasty, so we decided to keep the heat on while driving....My friend noted to me that cold air was blowing at his legs while we were driving....i turned off the heat and it stopped, and turned it back on and it started blowing cold again....any ideas to whats wrong?

Sidenote: my vent doesnt work if that means anything

Thanks!

Hey! We just had a topic on this, believe it or not. Look under "New YJ Heat Mod"... it should be just below. Though take some precausion (sp?) when doing this. I'm personally rigging up something like this with a flap, cable and a control lever from a CJ so I can turn than "fresh air" vent on and off as I choose. When it warms up I'm gonna document it and a couple of other things to put in the "How To" section.
