Is there a web site or a book with detailed instructions for the swap?I've never done any thing like this before. What year of 4.0 should I be looking for? Will any 4.0 fit ? Iam thinking about changing the trans. too, it is an peougeut right now with 125,000 miles on it.Is an Ax15 a good one?.It has a nv 231 transfercase. I was thinking about doing the head swap but it is as much as putting in an 4.0 with alot less miles then what I have now and from what I read it said not to do it to an engine that is worn out or has alot of miles. Any and all suggestion are appericated. 87 YJ.I want something realable for on and off road.

if your block is in good condition.. i'd say to swap the head and intake/exhaust system only... that way you get a 4.2HO
