Fender flare painting

I'm going to paint my flares. Is there any way that I could make my fender flare stiff so that paint wont crack off of it when i'm driving or whatever?[addsig]

You should paint it with something other than rattle can paint. If you have a paint gun, air compressor and some patience, you can do a really nice job. Scuff it down with medium scotchbrite, then spray on PPG DPX 801 (Adhesion Promoter) PPG DCC 9300 (Single Stage Urethane paint) with DX814 (flex additive)
