Last day till it closes for spring thaw... Don't know how many Michiganders are on the board, but it promises to be a good time for all!
Stats! The Mounds ORV Park (a Genesee County Park) Take the I-75 North to Mt. Morris Road (exit 1 twenty something). Head EAST on Mt. Morris Road, going through the City of Mt. Morris. It's on the left hand side, can't miss it... A little ways down... Noon-Sunset they are open You NEED A Michigan Department of Natural Resources ORV Sticker. Can be found at any store with a sporting goods dept.: K-Mart, Dunhams, Wal-Mart, Meijers... Cost is $16.50 for residents of the State, don't know about non-residents. A Mounds Daily Permit. $10.00 for non-residents of the County Recommended Things: Tow-hooks are strongly recommended, front and rear. A CB radio is also good to have. We're all on Channel 4... Maybe I'll see someone there, either from Michigan, or in the area, or wants to drive up a hell of a way from Ohio, Illinois, or points beyond...
