welp.. BBJ has been bitten by the "bigger bug" and is collecting parts to build a new machine from the frame up... We have found a donor frame/rear tub at a junkyard, great condition, for $150... and a donor late 80's F250 for motor/drivetrain/axles... We're lookin for some front fenders, at least the inners for the wells... we're gonna make our own outer fenders... The project should start within a couple weeks. I'll try to grab a camera to take progress pics... He got some 38.5x15" monsters last year, given to him.. had to hike through the snow to grab them, great tires, but one has a small rip on the bead, so we're thinking of tubing the tires for insurance... I know it is a little overkill, but the spite factor gives him a lot of pressure on it... a friend of ours just built up an unstoppable CJ5, and he hates being anything but the best, so we're just urging him to go more and more, this project should do the trick

Who is BBJ? Sounds quite mysterious.

BBJ is "BigBlackJeep"... he was here for a while, then had to go away for active duty... then came back, and just has no time to wait around for pages to load on dialup...
No, its not the same jeep that we did last winter... that will be sold, and we're starting with a completely different frame
