Back on the road!
Last night my '93 YJ came out of the 10' x 30' storage shed that it's been in since mid-March, and made a short trip under its own power! After removing the body from the frame and fixing and replacing numerous parts, this rebuild experience is drawing to a close. At this point, the majority of what's left to do is replace the exhaust, correct a minor steering issue, some body and paint work, install larger tires, and pass state inspection and emissions testing.
When I get time this month, I'll be putting the whole project on my website, complete with pictures. Some pictures from early in the project are in my photo gallery here on jeepz.com. Stay tuned for the website address!

Re: Back on the road!
Today Project Salt went in for a PA state inspection and emissions testing. After four months of sitting idle (and in pieces), I was hoping the inspection would work in my favor. To my relief, it passed! Now it's time to drive it around, break in the new suspension, and have fun! It's summer and I'm goin' topless!
BOOYA!
I've got the website started, but it's far from ready. Will add pics, write-ups, and release the address soon!

Re: Back on the road!
Here it is, the long-awaited web site address for Project Salt! It took longer than expected, but now's your chance to see the tear-down and rebuild of a '93 YJ. Point your web browser of choice to:
http://www.geocities.com/dandoc.geo/Jeep/yj_index.html
The site is still under construction, with the project through April showing on the site. Hopefully I'll be able to get the remaining months (May-August) done by the end of this month. If you notice any bad links or have suggestions for the website, please PM them to me. Stay tuned for the rest!

Re: Back on the road!
Okay, so it took longer than anticipated, but I finally got the writeup text for May through August finished. All that is needed now are pictures. They'll be posted when I get the time to select, crop, and size the appropriate pictures. I know you'll be sitting on the edge of your seat until those pics come online
