I'll play.
I'm a full-time student, in an RN/PA (PA =
Physician Assistant) program. Hardest thing I've ever endeavored to do in my life. I could work as an RN now, but if I did so, it would have to be an ideal situation due to time constraints. (I'd want to work emergency)
A "PA" is not to be confused with an "MA". A PA is a Master's degree, and does everything an MD does (for the most part) but needs a doc's signature at the end of the day. I'll be able to prescribe meds, write orders, etc. (No UTAH, I won't write you a Viagra order)
But I'm thinking of foregoing the PA portion of the program and going into
Radiation Therapy. Just interviewed, we'll see.
For money, I'm currently a Bartender and Barista at a Coffee Bar in Downtown Denver.
