I'm very disappointed with bush, but obama can be MUCH, MUCH worse.

In my experience the smoother the politician talks, but more of a scumbag he is.

Back on topic, bush did have some pretty funny quotes there.

I thinks there all crocks. Politicians that is. But wee need a change. Whatever is going on in D.C needs to change its time to get some new ideas and polices. Just my opinion though.

Re: The misunderestimated president

Thank God no one follows me around recording every goofy mistake I speak! Now that would be hilarious

Bush made his share of mistakes...no doubt...and not just verbally. My beef with him is that he didn't do enough (when he had every opportunity) to beat back the Liberal agenda. He is Just like his dad in trying to get along with everyone, including his political enemies.

I don't want a President who just wants to get along. That accomplishes little or nothing...as we have seen by GWB literally giving away the House, the Senate and now the Presidency.

Either convert your enemies or beat them back..if not, as president you will get slaughtered. George Bush set himself up as a target and let everyone pummel him without a real fight...and ultimately became much like his political enemies. That was his most significant failure IMO.

As far as Obama is concerned "change" for the sake of change is meaningless. He has a lot to back up from all of his campaigning rhetoric. I guess, like it or not, we'll see.

Poor Bush. He gets rapped on so much. Oh well, that's still some pretty fun stuff.

"I've abandoned free-market principles to save the free-market system." -- George Bush

Somehow I don't think the markets are gonna like Obama very much......
