I've been kinda wanting to do these things and build a track/coarse here in the desert. Maybe after "B" is together.

They just did a hole episode on extreme 4x4 this past weekend on scale model rc.

I had a couple of those Nylint crawlers, but got sick of fixing them.. That and I simply don't have time for them, but they definately look fun

I really like the looks of the Scale models. Very realistic, especially the Jeep bodies and accesories. I've got a truck I built years back. Aluminum Chassis with a 4 link. 2 Mabuchi 540 motors and rear steer. You can take the sway bars off to get more articulation.
