We are trying to decide wht to do with our vacation next year, and have decided to do something with our jeep. The problem is, we don't know what. We have heard about the Jeep Jambories, and also a Jeep camp. Has anyone been to one of these events ? Are they set up for a novice with a factory jeep ? Most likely, it would be myself, my girlfriend, my 14 year old daughter, and one of her friends. Any info would be much appreciatd. We live in South East PA. Hey there,

You can find all the info on jeepjamboreeusa.com

I have found all the info for Canada (I'm going in September). I delieve they are usually three day events. Yes there are mandatory requirments for your jeep but they are not very expensive. they are as follows

-skid plates

-Front tow hooks (Back ones are a good idea to have)

-full size spare tire

-CB radio

In canada the cost is $215 for the whole event. You can go for only one day as well.

There is also a course that comes free to the participants, it's called Jeep 101 (I think)

These events are year round in all different parts of the country.

Anyways check it out I'm sure for will like what you find on that web site.

Play hard!

P.S.

They also have restictions on tire sizes and lift hights. [addsig]
