_____I have 2 sets for sale. The first is a WideTrac set from an '85 CJ-7 AMC 20 and Dana 30. The bad news, the front needs gears. I have all the parts for the front axle and the rear has an unknown gear in them with what I was told to be a Limited Slip Diff. I bought them a while back to put under my jeep but I now know they won't hold up to 39". I bought these axles and they have sat ever sence. I give them a good coating of "PB Blaster" every once in a while. I'll try to get some pics on but i'm missing a cable to my camera (the USB?)
_____The second set of axles is a NarrowTrac from a '77 CJ-5, they're under it right now. Set up with Limited Slip Diff. and I think either a 3.54 or a 3.73, I'm pretty sure a 3.73! Again no axle pics available due to camera cable.
_____My perdicament is this: I need a set of Chevy 3/4 or 1 ton axles, gears preferably in the high 3's or any 4's. I want to do a SOA on my '77 CJ-5 to run 39" Boggers. I'd like the axles to have shafts but they would be getting switched for a 1pc or a strength up graded axle shaft.
_____If ANYONE wants to make an offer on either, PM me or give a shout out to me @ zman120983@yahoo.com. I will get back to you ASAP. Oh yeah, I will be moving to the Austin, TX area hopefully around April or May. I look forward to hear from you. Make an Offer!

Well if nobody'll buy 'em, what would be a good asking price for someone who would?

Re: RE: lift for XJ

I wouldn't be too concerned with selling those now. They only made those CJ widetracks for 5 years and the newest one is 19 years old now. There are a couple of junkyards around me that are already asking $500 for that front axle. The price is slowly going back up as they are getting harder to find. If you can't find a buyer now, hang onto them instead of just giving them away. You would be surprised how many guys wish they had kept all those "crappy" parts they swapped off their muscle cars and just threw away back in the 60s.

*Of course, this is the same way of thinking that has led me to having 9,000,000 useless parts laying around in my way all the time.
