Spare Tire Carrier Stud(s)

I'm looking for one or more of the studs that are on the stock spare tire carrier for a YJ. These are the studs that the tire mounts to with the lug nuts. I have one that has funked up threads, and another that really isn't doing well, either. Anybody got a YJ spare tire carrier they're not using that can spare a stud or three out of it?

Or just buy a new one on ebay. I pulled up quite a few around $20 including shipping.

Re: Spare Tire Carrier Stud(s)

Probably will be easier to buy the whole setup, as removing the studs from a good one will render it useless.

Not really. Shipping three studs will be remarkably cheaper than shipping an entire carrier. Also, with two bad studs on mine already, it's dang near useless already.

Re: Spare Tire Carrier Stud(s)

Another thought: Does anybody know if a regular wheel stud will work for this? The backside of the studs on the carrier are a lot bigger, a bit bigger and thicker than a quarter.
