I found an interesting acticle on the web, I recently went to purchase some new seats for my 89 wrangler, found out that mustang seats from 86-94 fit all 76-94 jeeps with only re drilling a couple of holes. total time for install 30 mins. bought a really nice set of seats at the junkyard for 75 bucks. hope this helps somebody out. 8-) a lot nicer and more comfortable than most of the seats offered in the mags. cheaper too!

once you have the seats out, all you have to do is measure the brackets and move 2 holes a half inch back on each side. You are right, there are a million stangs in the boneyards, I had a choice of 12, so I got to pick the color and the ones in the best shape.I would send a pic, but not sure how to do it yet. you can usually find a pair in great shape, but the boneyards find out that they fit jeeps they will try to get top dollar, lets keep that under our hats, to keep the prices down 8-) [addsig]
