Rear seat cj

I have a rear seat " used " for a CJ. I will give to anyone who wants it.
I traded for it sight unseen. It will not fit my factory 1976 jeep cj5
holes. It is not perfect, but it is pretty good. You pay shipping.

What do you mean "it wont fit the factory holes"? ALL cjs from 76-86 are the same body dimensions, Your rear seat from any of those years should fit. Is the seat bracket on the bottom of the seat?? Some used diff brackets, so I could see diff hole locations, lower your fuel tank and drill new holes.. That is if you really want to have a back seat. I better correct myself, ALL cj-7,s from 76-86 are the same, but so are the "5,s" from 76-81 (I think that's when they stopped making them).

Thank you for the information. I guess the seat must be for a pre 1976 cj5. I have purchased a new seat from Bestop. It fits the Factory threaded holes. I am offering the old seat to anyone who wants it, for gratis. Again thank you for your help.
