85 CJ7 spiff up
Im am new to this. Purchased 85 CJ7 with original inline 6. On day one no. Tranny, motor cranks, no drive shafts.

Since day one, put in T4 tranny, replaced ball joints, replaced flimsy home-made lift shackles,replaced brakes, wheel bearings. Overhauled front chuck and pinion bearings(Dana30). New seats, new windshield, rebuilt steering gear box and pump. New shocks, installed marine stereo. Sold the 35x14 boggers to mud racing teammate. Looking for ideas on tires and wheels. Kinda thinking old school jeep needs some old school outlaw IIs. Open to suggestions . Weather down here in LA is getting right for riding. More pics later
