Unhappy head light harness

well im pretty new to this site but so far its probably the best jeep site ive seen on the web and im glad to part of it. but heres the problem i got if anyone out there has seen this or had it happen to them. i have a 2003 wrangler x 4.0 5 speed and my head light harness fried under the stearing collum and now all i have for night driving is my fog lights. im wondering if any one knows if this happens alot or if my jeep was really built on a friday at end of shift.

ive already replace the rear axle gears twice clutch twice u-joints cant count ( dealer ship did a horrable job on the u-joints and i had it in the shop every week at least once for about 6 weeks) main shaft snapped in two and much more.

Re: head light harness

Nope. its not a common problem. Yes it was probbably built on a "fry"day and at the end of the shift and probbably ran low on the peppermint snopps. at this point it would be hard to tell if a wire got chaffed and caused a hard short.your probbably gonna need a harness to fix it.
