00 Cherokee audio and power window problem

The drivers side speaker does not work. the speaker itself works fine. i'm thinking it cold be the wire connecting to it or the head unit is out of whack. any ideas what the problem is?

also, the power window switches on all the doors but the drivers don't work. i think this is a common problem with Chryslers because it also happened in a 98 caravan and an 02 ram.

Any help would be appreciated.

Welcome to Jeepz. My guess would be the wiring harness encapsulated on the rubber door jamb tube is either severed or chaffed . There's also a junction block there on the body side of that harness. Check those wirings and connections. In theory, the inop windows on all but the drivers door is a symptom that the communications between the slave switches to the master switch is the first thing i would check.
