Power Inverter

This maybe a silly question but here goes..can you wire a 12 volt inverter into your trailer plug? I want to add a Christmas Wreath to my spare and would like it to only light when the headlights come on. Since I would not use the inverter all the time, I would like it in the back and of course I thought that would be the easiest power connection. I would be using a 400w or under so it would be one that could plug into the cigarette lighter.

Any ideas?

I don't see any reason why not.

Re: Power Inverter

I'd go the other way, and get some 12 volt christmas lights:
12 Volt LED Lights

I picked some up last year at my local harbor freight (tool shop), but you may also find them at walmart or something. You'd probably just have to wrap them around your own wreath.
