Android Apps for Jeeps
I've had my Android for a month or so now, and keep finding great apps to use with my Jeep. Here are some good ones (in no particular order) - you can download them in the Android app store, or by scanning the QR code with an app like barcode scanner:
Speedview (free)
This is a great GPS speedometer that includes a compass. It works well and is simple to use.

Car Performance (free)
This is more of a dragstrip app - you have a built in speedometer, as well as the ability to do a timed run. You can use the GPS to measure your 1/4, 0-60mph, etc stats.

Torque for Android
Torque (free or $5 for full version)
This is my favorite app. You'll need to purchase a bluetooth ODB scanner (I got one for $35 off of ebay), and once you pair that to your Android, you'll be able to read an amazing array of data from your car's engine - turning your $40 investment into a $200 - $300 odbii scanner.
You can configure the display to show whatever widgets you want. I've got my computer speed vs gps speed, torque, HP, avg fuel mileage, instant fuel mileage... there's just a ton of possible measurements. Plus you can log everything and email it to yourself.
From the developer:
---------------------
A car performance/diag tool that uses Bluetooth ELM/OBD/PLX adapters to connect to your OBD2 engine management/ECU
Can use the GPS to provide tracker logs with engine logging
Shows/resets DTC fault code like a scantool
Also Has:
*Dyno HP/0-60
*Send to web or email CSV/KML
*HUD/MPG
*GPS Speedo/Tracking
*Turbo boost
*Alarms
---------------------

Jeep Forum App
Jeepz.com Forum App (free)
No talk about great Jeep android apps would be complete without the Jeepz.com app
You can browse, post, and pm with this. It makes great reference when you're out working on the Jeep.

No desktop needed or aligning map files. Follows tracks and waypoints. $9.99. Give the demo a try you WILL agree.
