I don't think it's a steering problem but I could be wrong. There is a very loud growl (for lack of a better description) in the front end. No wheel shimmy at all. It won't happen at low speeds and taking the transmission and or transfer case out of gear...
My CJ has developed a incredible vibration in the front end. This week I will be pulling the diff cover to see if any thing is loose. I have a power trac locker in there. It only happens when I hit a bump. When I bring the jeep to a stop and start again, the vibration stops until the next bump.
