New sending unit. Unfortunately I had to sell my Jeep, needed something a little more fuel efficient for college. I bought an 04 TDI Golf. Thankfully my roommate bought a new toy.
I'll be back soon gentlemen.
I recently installed a new master cylinder, my old one had a lot of play in it. Once I bleed the system
it will shift perfectly for about two days then I lose almost all pressure. The clutch goes from engaging
at the very top to barely engaging at the floor. I've bled the system almost four...
I recently got a 4bt for a steal I'm wanting to drop it into my jeep with a AX-15 or turbo 400 automatic from a chevy.
I already checked 4btswaps.com with a number of other websites trying to find someone who has gone down this road.
Does anyone have any information on this swap?
I want to take the battery out of the equation. We party out at the farm and it'd be nice just to run an extension cord and plug it into a power source. We get music all night long and I'm not putting my strain on my battery recharging it.
I was wondering if it would be possible to run the electronics in my YJ off of a 120V power source. I was thinking of using a computer power source (120V AC to 12V DC) and just connecting the wires to the battery terminals from the Jeep. I just want to be able to play the stereo, not turn it over.
Can I clear 33x12.50s on a YJ with a 2 inch suspension lift?
I'm a pretty relaxed driver but am I going to see any real performance difference coming from 31s?
Before yall get mad, I swear I used the search bar.
Is your heater on? I had the exact same problems, I even went through the hassle of replacing my alternator. If I start my Jeep without the heater on, everything goes away. I can't explain it, neither can the mechanics that looked at it.
I've posted a few times about my gas gauge on here and I'm tired of it. I bought a replacement and it works when it wants to. I'm going to put a new digital measuring device instead of the low tech metal contacts I had to pay $200 for.
I just need a little assistance on the fuel pump, how many...
When I crank my Jeep with the heat on my belt squeals like crazy. If I wait a second after it's cranked to turn on the heat there's no noise but my voltage gauge drops about ~1.5 amps.
Is this normal, my belt doesn't have more than 25k miles on it, should I just replace it?
What's the rule...
