My transfer case on my 95 wrangler was replaced a few months ago...It has been working fine until this morning? It acts as if though it slips out when i go from forward to reverse or vice versa? Any ideas? Thanks,

ok.....so I put the jeep on jackstands adjusted the linkage and had it engaging in 4hi and 4lo everytime........took it off the stands and went to go try it and had 4hi sometimes and absolutely no 4lo......? weird? Any suggestions? Thanks!

Thanks for the replies guys! I am going to do some more adjusting on the linkage this weekend......is there a trick to knowing that your in for sure without climbing a hill and slinging mud? Can you jack it up on jackstands and get the same results? Thanks!

My four wheel drive doesnt always engage it kind of has a mind of its own iguess you could say? When it does go in it goes good until it decides to pop out.....or even when i put it in reverse.....what would cause this? Thanks guys!

Well I adjusted the linkage and it works! Whenever I pull forward it is in and stays in.......then I back up and it goes out or vice versa? What could be causing this? Any ideas?

so what you are saying is that only two wheel should turn at one time? That would make since because i saw that my drivers front and passenger rear would spin together and passenger front and drivers rear would spin together.......? Is that the way it is supposed to be? If that is the case then...

Is there supposed to be play in the posi-lok cable when you pull it? It pulls all the way out everytime, but dont push in all the way all the time it has to be lined up in order to push it in seems like? I will try to adjust the shifter linkage...and upgrade my fork as well i guess? Its driving...

the front drive shaft will turn when engaged into 4lo and 4hi....could this still be the problem? Thanks!
