just came across an 01 cherokee thats in pretty good condition, and a fair price. Were all 2001s distributorless and is this more of a headache than earlier models with a distributor?

too much, only because the quality of the work will most likely be crap. Buy your own flowmaster from an auto parts store, or online, call a local exhaust shop and dont pay more than $250
:D
So while looking for my new cherokee Ive noticed something that seems pretty standard on all of them. The rear brake line isn't exactly in the safest position and seems VERY vulnerable for any off road exercises. Is there enough slack in it to attach it better or does it require changing...
Hello all. New to jeeps, not to wheeling. Little history, I had a 2000 toyota tacoma that spent just as much time off road as it did on. Ran it stock and it wheeled like a beast. It was part of the frame buyback program from toyota and I recently sold it. I was looking at land rovers...
so for both off and on road performance, if an HO can be found, thats the way to go. Anyone have any suggestions as to what years may be "better" than others? I have a buddy that runs a dealership and can pretty much bring in anything I want. So far it looks like its going to be 99 or 00.

Hey all, new to the site, just offed my toyota for frame rot issues and am looking at a cherokee sport. Can anyone tell me the difference between the 4 liter and the High output version, hp differences torque differences? Just wondering if its really worth searching for an HO. Thanks
