The 4L Engine on my 2006 TJ was doing this odd balking/loss of power thing. After tracing the problem to the PCM, I decided to try this proposed fix. WORKED LIKE A CHARM. Thank you some much for the explanation. I will say, I was really glad to have a nice multimeter and soldering station...
