RE: Easy 44 Swap? My 99 does the same thing every once and a while and my cure is just pushing in on the instrument cluster and it goes for another couple months without doing it.

I can't figure out why A/C makes a difference either but on some of the kits I've looked at, they specially say with or without A/C Thanks for the input.

Hey guys, I have a 99 TJ sahara and considering a lift (4") Does anyone know what difference it makes having A/C when installing a lift? And if someone could give me list of ALL the stuff I'll need for the 4" lift (so I don't miss anything) Thanks

RE: Oil pressure sending unit (I think) I say wait till it dies completely, it only takes a little while to change. But if you do live where it is cold this time of year you might want to think wether you have a place to change it or not. Changing parts and lying in the snow ain't much fun!!

Yeah sounds like the oil sender to me to. Make sure that everything is tight when you put it back together. I don't remember for sure but i think it was only 15-20 canadian$$'s so it shouldn't hurt that bad. Good luck

Last Chance trail report Does anyone know why some lift kits say " only for jeeps with out air conditioning? I'd like to get a kit off ebay but i don't know why a/c would really matter.

coil spacers I did mine on my 99 TJ and it wasn't "that" bad. The manifold and the intake are held on by the same bolts. No special tools were required. I do remember having to move the power steering pump out of the way but you don't need to disconect it fully. I did mine in January at -20 C...

I've got a 99 sahara as well and my skid plate is no where near my oil drain plug either. I'd seriously be checking to see (unless you bought it new) if someone has added an aftermarket skid plate, if they have that's cool more protection just a pain to do your oil change.
