Well, my point was that GM tried to do with those what Willys got going on with Jeep, and it never happened. I wouldn't trade the worse Jeep ever built for a humdum neither. I'd even drive a grand cherokee first:p

Honestly, I wouldn't have em on my Jeep. I did run Rancho adjustables on one but not air shocks.:shock:

I FINALLY ordered parts, I'm into the black now and got parts for B on the way. Should be here TOMORROW!!! :D Just saying, I'll be starting BACK on B now. Tomorrow I get the input shaft for the transmission. WOOT!!! Then I'll start on the axles next, lockers and brakes.:shades:

Almost as bad as my EX-agent. I wanted auto pay from my bank account and she said "Sure, no problem" filled out a bunch of papers and next month it didn't come out, went in and paid to her directly. Got a nasty snot letter from insurance about being late. I called her and chew on her ear awhile...

These old Willys Jeeps are not built for speed. They have 72 horse power and are very "darty :shock:" at 45 plus. I know too it will bog on grades with the 33's. If you can control her at 70 mph it wil be on flatland. Mine's never gonna see those highway speeds as long as I own her.:shades:

I don't recall what year Willys motor co. became Kaiser Willys and then when they again changed to Kaiser Jeep. That one there is a 1955 to 1967 and probably NOT the later 68-71 of the Kaiser era. Kaiser bought Willys-Overland in 51 and changed the name to Willys Motor Co., then Kaiser Willys...
