I'll take a look, but the pinion seal wasn't leaking before I changed the fluid. Could new fluid cause the pinion seal to leak?

well, i got the fluid changed on Saturday. But now the thing is leaking. It's not major...no puddles under the Jeep or anything, but there's always a drop hanging from the bottom of the pumpkin. I really don't feel like doing that all over again.

I was wondering if people are still using Red Line transmission fluid in their 5-speeds. For a while everyone was talkling about it but I haven't seen any posts recently. I'll probably be changing the transmission fluid soon and was wondering what the consensus is.

So if I was doing a full replace as opposed to a rebuild would all of that still be involved or would it essentially be sliding out the axles, removing the bearing supports, dropping in a new diff, and doing it all backwards?

In my old diff the spiders were all pitted. Not sure if water got in there or what. On this new one, I'm not sure yet. It might not even need replaced. All I know is that it's whining a little bit durning normal driving and that it acts funny once it warms up. It makes this very noticable...
